This short exercise asks some useful questions to help you think about the issues you will have to address when considering implementing a flexible working program. This is for you, the leader, to complete yourself.
How to Use This Exercise
- Download and print off the Thinking About Flexible Working worksheet below.
- Answer each of the questions as fully as possible. You may need to gather more information to answer some questions, so take the time to do this.
- Once you have answered all of the questions, review your answers to help you decide whether or not to proceed with implementing a flexible working scheme.
- If you decide to move ahead with implementing flexible working, use the Action Plan at the end of the worksheet to define and plan your next steps.
